Inclement Weather Plan

In the event of inclement weather, child care will operate under the following policies:

• If school is canceled for the entire day, child care will open at the YMCA, not at the school sites. Walnut Cove will not be open. We will open as early as possible, depending on the weather situation.

• If school is dismissed early due to weather, child care will open at the YMCA immediately.

• The YMCA cannot transport students by YMCA vehicles. Parents are responsible for transporting students to the YMCA for care.

Call the Stokes Family YMCA for updates and changes. Also, tune in to WXII (Ch. 12) for updates.

* There is no charge for children in the after school program.
* There is a $20 charge for children not in after school program
