CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

Beginner= I Intermediate= II Advanced= III

 

Abs15- I, II,III 15 minutes of core work (abs/back)

 

BunBusters15- I, II, III 15 minutes of glute work

 

Boot Camp- II, III A combination of old school gym and modern day calisthenics. This is an intense military style workout. Not your average Aerobics class.

 

Cardio Lite- I This class is for those who have never exercised before with low impact aerobics/step/sculpt ending with yoga based stretching

 

Circuit- II, III 3 minute rotation of hi/ low intensity, working with step bench, weights, etc

 

Cycle- I, II, III Individually paced class including warm-up, basic cycle movements, conditioning and cool-down.

 

FitBall Toning- I, II, III A strengthening/resistance class utilizing an exercise ball

 

H.E.A.T.- II, III High Energy Aerobic Training – 60 minutes of high-energy cardio moves!

 

Interval- II, III This class takes you to the box and to the floor for a great combo workout, finishing with abdominal work.

 

Kettlebell Pump- Experience a 30-minute high-energy total body workout using a kettle bell.

 

Power Pump-II, III Tone and sculpt muscles from head to toe using dumbbells, exercise tubing, and/or Resist-a-Ball.

 

QuickKick- II, III Experience a 30-minute high-energy kick, bob, and weave class packed with a punch!

 

Step/Sculpt- II, III 30 minutes of step and 30 minutes of body sculpting. This is a great way to burn fat as well as work on cardiovascular endurance with the use of a step.

 

Strictly Step- II, III Entire class of step aerobics!

 

Top Line- I, II, III Light cardio warm up, with extreme emphasis on arms using dumbbells, exercise tubing, Resist-A-Ball, etc. plus abdominal work.

 

Zumba- A fusion of Latin & international music put to routines featuring aerobic and fitness interval training. Learn new dance steps while getting a great dynamic core workout.

 

20/20/20- II, III This class has it all… 20 minutes of floor aerobics, 20 minutes of kickboxing or step, 20 minutes of deep stretching or sculpting.

 

YOGA AND PILATES

 

Pilates- Quick efficient movements structured to strengthen the core muscles (stomach, hips, lower back and buttocks, ”the center of the body”). Improve posture, balance, and flexibility as you build strength.

 

Restorative Yoga/Active Relaxation - This class is an extremely gentle approach to Yoga, which helps cleanse the body and mind while supporting ourselves with blankets and/or props. This is an excellent class for beginners or people with illnesses or injuries.

 

Yoga- Get started in your yoga practice with the ancient practice of posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama) that will realign the body, increase flexibility, develop strength and focus the mind. Come experience this energizing and empowering course.

 

Yogalates- A class that uses both Yoga and Pilates moves to gain strength, tone and flexibility.
